Yea so i can't hear out of my right ear.
But unfortunately i have no sex related story to go with my problems.
its surprising how hearing less is far more irritating then being deafened by noise. Finally i understand the meaning of the phrase "The Silence is Deafening." Also i keep getting surprised by people. My House i fairly old so normally i can hear where everyone is purely based on there footsteps (I don't want to say I'm a ninja but...)
Update: For two hours last night i could properly hear again, then like a man thinking he'd hit the bottom of a pool of sinking sand, the layer of wax sealed over again making me constantly want to yawn. Or maybe that's a combination of refusing to go to bed before midnight and constantly reading textbooks.
So this is also my 150th post.
Musings on blogging so far. Despite not really knowing why i continue to post infrequent, random updates on things most people who read this blog either experienced themselves or heard about from friends. I do have one or two followers who i don't know directly, and to those people i say, "Seriously, why follow me." Probably out of politeness cause i follow them. But then its a whole chicken and egg thing and we all know how that turns out.
I did start following a new blog lately, bit hard to get into cause its been going for 300 odd posts now. But from what I've read its made me realise how accustomed i am to a society where religion isn't an issue for the most of the people most of the time. (OK there are some foreign policy issues and extremists and all that) But when you consider i went to a Church of England Primary School, said the lords prayer daily, attend christian holidays, its weird to think throughout the entire time I never felt religious. There was no pressure from teachers or parents. Maybe it helped that both my parents had been catholic at University before deconverting to a sort of semi spiritual state.
So in this new blog I read (Abandoning Eden if your interested) The blogger was former Orthodox Jew who due to the bloggers new lifestyle has now been seemingly rejected by her parents. At this point i start to think if we were made in God's image then way does he demand such inhuman behavior.
I'm gonna plug "Nation" by Terry Pratchett at this point. Nearly finished rereading it and I'm still getting the same impression as the first time. The book reminds me slightly of Lord of the Flies in that the characters seem to be archetypes rather than individuals.
right I'm off, feel free to comment. It makes me feel loved, well not love more sort of acceptance, well not acceptance, but respect, well not respect or acceptance or love. But i was never contractually obliged to sleep with visiting Japanese businessmen!
If u get the reference, I will love you for all time.
