Seriously i am listening to some old, old music nowadays. If i end up like my dad listening to wagner and refering to opera as the ultimate artform then someone shoot me now.
In whats becoming an irritating tradition i will now waste time that should be spent on my history coursework, complaining about my history coursework.
well thats enough time wasted.
In other news still need something to do on New Years eve, time to beg me thinks.

Is it illegal to kill someone for ruining Christmas
You see I'm coming round to that way of thinking.
Let me explain, Christmas had preceded as usual, Xmas eve fight between parents, problems resolved through a good nights sleep, heavily buttered toast and bucks fizz. Then came the massive dinner. Very good stuff, highlights include sausage stuffing, cauliflower cheese and my sisters attempt at bread sauce (milk with onion lumps in).
Understandable everyone was a bit stuffed and some members of the family went for naps. So we put off present unwrapping. This would prove to be a flawed plan as my sister then revealed she was going out for the evening and since the aforementioned fourth family member was asleep we would not be able to open them till she got back. No matter we thought, it will make boxing day something more than the day after Christmas, we were going to see Sherlock Holmes as well.
Oh well, i could wait. Especially with some 21 year crazy 40% dutch drink in my belly.
As I'm sure you've guessed it didn't work out that way. Oh no indeed, it is currently 23:28 and i have only opened two presents. One of which was two magazines produced by the met office (My mothers mother has a peculiar attitudes to gifts).
I shall attempt to sleep now, though the incredibles on iplayer is helping.

"All of which makes me anxious, at times unbearably so."
So i have't blogged in 11 days. Lets take a quick look at my diary to see what i've been up to.
University stuff: 4 out of 5 have responded, 3 with invites to open days, 2 requiring informal interviews and one straight offer. Unfortunatly my top choice still has not replied and the application tracker thing on there website currently has it stuck in limbo between department and college.
Oh well as long as i get one offer i'm happy.
What else happened. I went to one of the informal interviews and once again showed myself that i should not be alowed to speak to people i havn't known for a year. I frequently get completely toungue tied infront of people that make decisions or that i actually want to impress.
So its Christmas tomorrow. Unfortunatly my families track record of merry christmas's without ending up in 4 different rooms is not great. So we shall see.

Nicknames
I pick them up like a bad cold.
It started so simply with my sister calling me poo, ha ha big yucks all around.
Then in primary school what was initially just because there were two people with my first name soon became a phrase "Theres no nerd like Snownerd." In the long run i think i win that one cause I'm the only one of that year (bar my namesake) still in full time education.
More recently the fact that if you swap the first letter of my first name with the first letter of my second name it becomes Sue, this later became Susan, then Mr Susan (which i kinda liked BTW) and now the latest incarnation originated from this sketch.
I'm not sure whether to be flattered or irritated, i guess i could settle for flarritated. Silly Saboo that's not a word, whatever were you thinking.
incidentally my two favourite moments in Firefly occur in the first episode,
"I believe that women is planning to kill me again"
and of course when he shoots that guy. Total Badass!

Life is Good
From a day which started with me yawning constantly has come to me giggling a bit too much. Well mentally giggling, in reality me giggling sounds fairly evil.
In other news we now have a Christmas Tree now the reason i have included one more capital than necessary is because its a mahussive tree. But more important than its size was the sense of childlike amusement it caused in me. I have officially reached the stage in winter where i start to like Christmas songs. Which for those who have endured my constant moaning in an attempt to drown out bells will come as a welcome relief.
Update....
Just came back from 6th Form open evening having successfully spelt CHEMISTRY out of red and green slime. So job well done i think
Oh and how could i forget, I'm fucking 18 tomorrow. Looking forward to this one, need to make it special because from this point onwards it becomes an inevitable downwards spiral towards death.
Now I don't like to end on a down note so ill leave you with this...
OK i meant to find the mighty boosh one but couldn't find it so your stuck with the original.

OI FATTY WHERES MY CASH
Good Evening, muahahahahahaha
well constant pressure from my parents has pushed me to officially organise foodings on the day of my birth.
In the tradition of announcing these things on blogger first, consider this a formal invite (seriously entrance will only be allowed with copy of this blog.)
Twill be Pizza Express 7-8ish not sure yet, will get a feel for the numbers tomorrow and book then.
So let me know if you want to come.
ps) if you want to continue with the blogger tradition and drop out at the last minute then go right ahead lmao (change of scenery)
EDIT: Friday is the day lol

Onion metaphors
My favourite thing at the moment is layers of discovery.
Example: Halo2/Halo3 leads to discovery of redvsblue.com - leads to forum talk about firefly - leads to Joss Whedon/Nathon fillion obsession - leads to Dr horribles sing along blog - leads to Felicia day - leads to The Guild web series. Now that is a fucking onion metaphor.
Most recent example/inspiration for blog: Never mind the buzz cocks with that blur guy - download some blur - rediscovery of Gorilaz (childhood favourite)
However as the exception that proves the rule (makes no sense that)
Chemistry is taught in layers of irritation.
Example: This rule if true for all these thingies (Scientific!)-half true-not even close to true yet without it nothing works.
OK so maybe slight exaggeration on the last one.
On the lighter side got home last night at 3am after agreeing to the awesome idea of watching the lord of the rings trilogy:EXTENDED (WOOT) edition. Worth it but am now quite tired and have to pieces of coursework to do, which is proving difficult due to almost constant power cuts.
Remember kids have fun with it!

Everything will be fine (WRONG!!)
A wee little update whilst i avoid work. Have had a busy few days.
Thursday: Went to see Rob Brydon with Baby Kangaroo, the man is beyond legendary. Top line of the night.
Rob: "I often attract a lot of wrinklies to my show, ah i see one now, you sir, yes you sir the really old one."
Old Geoff (as we later find out): "I'm only 48".
Rob: "The years have not been kind to you."
Also best heckler put down ever, someone in the crowd Baas's Rob replies, "Ah no enough of that, it gets very hard to remember the material with an erection."
Friday: Went to see paranormal activity with people who know who they are. Equal parts laughter and being scared shitless. Well worth watching if you get a chance. I read a comment somewhere that i thought was really good, it went something like this. The reason its scary is because most of the bad shit happens when your asleep in the room most of us run to for safety and we never really think how vulnerable we are when we sleep.
After the movie it was a short skip and a jump (plus a small car ride) to 2 hours of Costa fun time followed by Nerd fest (now officially the term of use for the event by my mum lol) where good times were had by all. Followed by late night and immense fear of invisible demons squashed by shear exhaustion and jaffa cakes.
Saturday:....................................Don't Ask!
Sunday: Geography past questions, good times.
Oh also have recieved confirmations of the ucas form from 4/5 uni's and the fifth went a half better by asking me for an informal interview. So good times.

BBLLAAARRGGGGG
*breathes through teeth* So, its been a while. How are you? Oh well, but can't the doctors.... No, really! Even if they remove it, that's terrible. What? oh nothing, just makes my news seem minuscule in comparison.
So its nearly Christmas and at the risk of sounding like a Grinch i hate Christmas music, or to be more specific shops that play it in Fucking November.
Its not all bad though, xbox live has suddenly got very interesting. What with Modern Warfare 2 (which is great by the way) and Left 4 Dead 2 which is awesome, but incredibly hard, any who who has it and whats to team up let me know.
Unfortunately i probably won't have much time to play said video games, over the three days its taken me to actually write this blog I've added up the work i have to do this holiday and the time i have to do it in.... Not good, also when work mounts up i tend to not sleep to well. Especially when its important stuff. So i may be a wee bit grouchy.
Also, an interesting thing happened, I won an award, my responses elicited (fun word) this reaction from my mother, "Why aren't you happier." And to be honest i don't know, i like winning things, but when i read the letter i just thought why, then assumed its cause all teachers seem to like me, which depressed me.
Incidentally, "The thick of it is awesome, hence this classic line.
"I have a friend who thinks Stig is Hammond, May and Clarkson purely because Stig is an anagram of gits."

All things in moderation
except for jaffa cakes, they have only 1g of fat per cake you know. Oh and metallica, who, thanks to a friend, take up almost one tenth of ipod.
So i have spent far too much this month, but on good things. CODMW2 (abrev. ftw lol) , left 4 dead 2 and star trek. Awesome movie btw, still good even on a smaller screen. I really had my doubts when i heard they were making a new, especially when it was a prequal. But it really works, helped by awesome cast. also by the law anything with Simon Pegg in it must be owned and anything with Simon Pegg doing a Scottish accent becomes a hangable offence not to own.
In other news Glen Beck is a penis (see new South Park episode) News programmes should not show YouTube videos and last but not least, i will pay any amount to the person who shaves Jedward's collective head, double to the person who shaves a wee bit too close resulting in a loss of skull structure.

Well there goes my goal of doing nothing but shooting Russian Ultra nationalists (what ever they are) for the rest of the evening, instead its replaced by history course work which depending on what teacher you talk to is either worrying or various single syllable responses.

Standard Conditions
I have a problem, well several problems but today's key issue is my work habits. Combined with an astronomical workload has turned me into a miserable son of a biatch to be around. And now with YouTube temporarily down i am left with only one option.
Blogging, but what to blog about, i am unable to embed videos.
Um, things I'm looking forward too. School (gasp) because school gives me a structure to my day, without which i end up sat in my room watching you tube and repetitively doing the same track over and over again on trials HD. This then results in the aforementioned workload being ignored which then means i have to cancel plans (sorry), but then i continue to procrastinate and still have a massive workload. This has left me with the paranoid feeling that if i make it to Uni i will fuck it up. And as going to Uni is basically my entire life plan at this point, i am paranoid living with my mother until I'm 30.
So this has all been buzzing around my head over this week. i ended up on Saturday snapping at everything that moved. Oh and i may have to wake up at 6 tomorrow to take my dad to the station. So if I'm still pissed tomorrow that's why.
I do realise i sound like a whiny little bitch when i moan like this. I do try not to but can't be helped. Plus my issues are not nearly as insurmountable as my Halloween leftover chocolate fueled brain is turning it into. So here is where i turn to the might of the inter web. If you think I'm procrastinating and ignoring problems MSN bitch slap me till i wake up.
PS anyone who wants a left over Halloween mars bar come find me tomorrow.

Seriously any ideas, questions, requests, offers for casual sex. I will take anything
ps) if you don't know what the title is then next time i see you i will have to inform you. In a loud voice, with quotation marks and punctuation.

Epic Fail
|Wow, have not blogged since Thursday, i really need to do more things.
So what have i been up to, you ask? Well Saturday i stayed home to do work, which was far more fun than going to the mop. On Sunday i stayed home and did work, which is far more fun than driving those little carts in airports for hours on end and on Monday as a reward for my selfless actions i handed in my history essay, came home, spent 3hrs complaining of stomach pain before taking one whiff of dinner and projectile vomiting all over the bath room, were talking team America style here. It was horrific.
So now I'm stuck at home on Tuesday where i will be most likely doing more work/ the solo horizontal monster mash.

History (III)
Pratically done now, will look forward, sorry not look forward, will shit myself when the teacher marks it. Did i mention he also set us another essay to be done in the 3days between handing this in and our last lesson before term. At least my other history teacher hasnt given us any. Which in a way is even worse as our lessons have degredated to discussing "The Tudors" tv show which i have never/will never watch.
IRISH PUB FOLK ROCK PUNK BANDS
or IPFRPB's as i will now refer to them, are my new favourite type of music. Normally at school im quite chilled, infact almost catatonic, high tempo versions of classic irish folk songs get me quite hyper. Although i get quite into it and i end up in my own little world ignoring people anyway.
So what do IPFRPB's sound like i hear you ask, thats right its embedment time.

History (II)
So with a week before my first section is due in i have rewritten my question again. For some reason every time i talk to my history teacher about it, he comes up with another fundamental problem with the concept. I mean for Gods sake the concept that my question is too broad shouldn't have taken the summer holidays and almost a term to realise.
Because of this major panic i have now had to pick between two fun things on the weekend.
Your right, nerdy time it is.
PS) I'm not actually in a Star Trek Fan Fiction Acting Society, though it sounds monumental (Scottish accent) doesn't it.

- Nerdy time, missed it last week and if you miss one star trek fan fiction practise then you lose your place (btw I'm Spock)
- Mop time, or as it shall be known the mugging day. Where we drink alcohol and think of new swearwords to call that fucker who mugged my friend.

Titinate (its a real substance lol)
so exactly 85 blogs ago i moaned about my shower situation. Update time. Showers still not remodeled, and the other bathroom now has a broken light.
That's right people i now have to shower sat down in a bath with no curtain and the door wide open so i don't accidentally give myself third degree burns.
Adverts. I can handle some of them, movie trailers and stuff like that, but i really really REALLY hate the ones where "celebrities" pretend for cash. Two in particular have pissed me off.

- Richard Hammond: From now on he shall be known as the Richard "searching for cheap British sausage meat" Hammond

CRAB PEOPLE
Bored. Been working on my personal statement whilst following edaves 7 steps with liberal sprinklings of House.
I watched the latest episode of HIMYM today, although its still hilarious, i realised what i both love and hate about American sitcoms. I like them because the series are longer than UK ones, I hate them because to make them longer they put in filler episodes. Episodes where everything is back to normal at the end, i can handle it in cartoons so maybe I'm just a hypocritical bastard.
Written 90% of my personal statement, 90% of that is bullshit and the other 10% is just cow shit. I know we have to write these things and from the examples I've looked at they all seem to be the same. Unless the people who read these things are complete morons I'm guessing they know its bullshit. So why do they still want them, if everybody lies (God Bless House) then it wont help them get to know the person so they'll have to have an interview any who so why bother.
Hmm
I watched the latest episode of HIMYM today, although its still hilarious, i realised what i both love and hate about American sitcoms. I like them because the series are longer than UK ones, I hate them because to make them longer they put in filler episodes. Episodes where everything is back to normal at the end, i can handle it in cartoons so maybe I'm just a hypocritical bastard.
Written 90% of my personal statement, 90% of that is bullshit and the other 10% is just cow shit. I know we have to write these things and from the examples I've looked at they all seem to be the same. Sunday
hmm, seems to sum up the last couple of weeks for me.
For some reason i seem to have lost the ability (if i ever had it) to blog about things, I said at the start i was going to use this to try and help me open up, but a quick check back and all i see is jokey stuff and superficial moaning. I guess I've run out of jokes and the moaning is now just a constant droan in the background.
My sister left for uni today and its put in me in reflective mood and now more than ever I'm aware that i have gone through life exactly like "hmm", neutral, boring, could mean hundreds of things, non committal or adventurous. I could blame my parents here for polarising my sister and me with her being extroverted and me being the opposite. Sixth form has been better, but of the things i could have done, Ive done a fraction of.
To miserably a blog by far, i apologise, will cheer up soon enough, blame my cold and this massive fucking insect bite on my arm.
PS) happy birthday edaves

subject of discussion
Havn't blogged in a while, although events have occured that are bloggable. Its more that i would just be stating things with nothing particularly interesting to say.
so let the stating begin.
Friday: "Hobby" night, got a parking ticket.
Saturday: Pewsey Carnival, drank beer, laughed at friends incapacity to drink, friend got punched in the neck, felt incredibly sober after that.
Sunday: woke up with about 3 hours sleep, continued to laugh at friends incapacity to drink after 3 visits to the bathroom to vomit, drove home relieved that i hadn't got a second parking ticket, tried to do the homework i failed to do on Saturday. Ended up taking my first nap ever, felt surprisingly worse afterwards.
So that was my weekend, oh and now i have a cold.
I really need to find something to break the monotony, oh wait How i met your mother, swish.

I am fucking pissed off, a week ago i took my car to the garage cause i heard a weird noise, i was told it was nothing and got charged £70 (god bless parents and there wallets, well more there wallets) for a replacement wheel bearing.
Writing that paragraph has failed to quell my vast sea of rage, especially considering that the noise has come back, louder and angrier.
I'm starting to think that maybe my mum is deliberately sabotaging my vehicle in order to keep me in the nest *joke* I know shes doing it lol.

Na na na na, na na na na hey hey hey goodbye!
At the moment im not feeling particuarly positive. But first, I appolgise for not having blogged recently, but until friday the only interesting thing that happened to me is ..........homework.
So lets start with friday, after struggling through school, I drove to swindon (got lost twice and ended up driving from one side of the town centre to the other) and relieved the childhood past time of bowling. Seriosuly i can't believe i managed to avoid it for so long. Also the technician dude who fixed our lanes when they broke down not twice but three times is a ninja. Also the bowling place made surprisingly good burgers and on the drive back i found out my car cannot go up steep hills at over 30mph which was embaressing.
Then on saturday, spent 3hrs on one piece of homework i didnt finsh, got in a fight with my mum and got depressed over how shit the start of the rugby seasons been.
Sunday: today i have to do all the homework i failed to do yesterday.
oh well

Thanks a lot
I'm now even more undecided about my hair. Thanks to you guys i need to divide my hair into a bald section, a crazy section, and a hair straigtened bit.
Today was dull, in a good way though, although at the end i had to pay £3 in library fines, but life moves on. My cars still out of action. This is starting to irritate me as i'd just started getting used to having the freedom to go when and where without requiring parents or the shit bus service in Kennet Valley.
Purely out of interest but does anyone actually answer there parents when they ask "So how did school go?" I mean do they really want ten minutes of, went to class, talked to friends, went to more classes, then went home. Its not quite as bad as "So who went to this party?" They claim they're just showing an interest, but a list of people of which they will probably know less than 3 is utterly pointless.
Back to reading about half cells, isnt it awesome how out of 8 lessons so far this week i've had 7 pieces of homework. No it isnt, why would you joke about such things.
ps) where the fuck is the spell checker on this new blogger thing, people might start to see i can't type or use proper punctuation or even sentence structure.

Catch up
So, turns out i havn't updated since thursday.
Friday: Second day of school, mixed bag of a day, spent my two free periods doing fuck all. Felt really negative at points, got home and felt positve, went and saw a rugby game, lost by a point so felt negative again.
Saturday: Positive start to the day, went and saw a movie called District 9, well worth watching btw. Got home, drove sister into work on return trip car started making horrible noises. Decided it should be put into the garage, realised now would not be able to take dad to train station which would mean my mum would have to, she got annoyed, big fight occurs.
Sunday Morning: hadnt spoken to mother since 7pm the night before. Reconciled just before lunch. Still feel massively negative as this almost definatly will not be the last time this will happen. Up till the moment i started typing this all ive achieved this morning is putting my school timetable into my new planner.
Oh well time to move on. Spent way to much this month already so im going to be living frugely till next month so i can still get Halo ODST (awesome) plus new muse album.
Also
i love these guys
ps) I promise to type better in the future

So many Yr 12's
So we're finally back at school, although the first day doesnt really count, two lessons and on of those was spent making fun of the australian cricket team/ australias recent epic fail at sport recently.
So family update, they all annoy the crap out of me except my Dad as we neatly avoid any confrontation by only talking about rugby, so until we come to loggerheads over team selection, im not really bothered about that.
On the nerd side of things i currently playing this crazily addictive arcade game, called Trials HD, i kid you not i spent two hours on the same level trying to get one achievment, dont judge please...
also @Candadia, seeing as you blog wont let me comment i shall comment here instead, this is what i would have said to your one about getting a job, i think.
Comment
"Ha i wish my job search 09 had been that simple, at the moment unless a video game shop opens up my jobsearch 09 will become a job search 10"

The Quickest Shower of all time
Story behind title, came back from gym smelling like Satans old t shirt, you know the one with all the holes, im sure its in the bible somewhere. Anywho popped into the shower, hot water cuts out midway through soap, can't quit at that point so now im fucking freezing.
Main reason for this blog, im looking for advice, plus i get to use a new feature for my blog yey.

Normality has resumed
So its been almost 2 days since my sister and father came home and things are back to normal. Dad, mum and me have migrated to the 3 corners of the house (i dont live in a triangle but its a weird shape house, like a sideways shoe lol) with my sister floating about, snapping at various people in equal amounts.
Still struggling to really finish my history essay preparation, told myself i would finish my detailed plan but have started working in fractions, ie first 1/2 then 1/4 then 1/8 approaching 1 but never actually reaching it. I was also meant to reread tthe stuff we covered in chem last year so i don't look like a complete retard when i get a bunch of new teachers (one of which may be American, please be a republican would be so much fun). Chemistry does go like that for me, in fact most subjects are like this, i get massively confused slip by the teachers attention until i finally get it either just after the exam or right at the end of it when theres not time to make corrections. Oh well.
Being able to drive means freedom, it also means parking, at the moment the only place other than those two slots outside of school is the car park by the bowls club which im not entirely sure is free or what, oh well.
Currently listening to the Radiohead set at Reading, pretty good, though some parts are better on a cd. Plus you have to be in the right mood for them. And i've never quite figured out which, or maybe its jsut when im on a bus ride with no one interesting to talk to and i can completly phase out and almost miss my stop.
ps) tried to comment on emmas blog but the codeword thingie spazs ouit and wont let me enter the code, or even see the box to enter it in weird or what people.
pps) sorry for the lack of personal pronouns or for that matter punctuation
ppss) appologies for previous blog, essentially just a personal joke for one person.

I CAN WALK
hello people
I was bored and thought i'd give writing ago, and lo and behold i wrote till the break of dawn. For your enjoyment here is chapter 1 of my untitled debut master piece so review and i will sleep.
To the red country and pa\rt of the grey country of Oklamhoma, the lat rains came gently, andthey did not cut the scarred earth. The Plows crossed and recrossed the riulet marks. The last rains lifted the corn quickly and scattered weed colonies and grass long the sides of the roads so that the gray country and the dark red country began to dissapear under a green cover. In the last part of may the sky grew pale and the clouds that had hung in high puffs for so long in the spring were dissipated. The sun flared down on the growing corn day after day until a line of brown spread along the edge of each green bayonet. The The Clouds appeared and went away, and in a while they did not try any more. The weeds grew darker green to protect themselves, and they did not spread any more. The surface of the earth crusted, a thin hard crust, and as the sky became pale, so the earth became pale, pink in the red country and white in the gray country.
So what do you guys think....
alright i admit it, i lied. I didnt write this, John Steinbeck did. I just wanted to look cool by writing about the abuses handed to the people of oklahoma when there crops died.
In other news there is no other news apart from my sisters back and she bought a bunch of illeagal dvds YEY

ITS OVER 9000
no real motive behind the title, mearly an example of nerdiness.
I didn't think my hobbies could get even worse (well at least its not mass murder), i always thought i had a line i wouldn't cross, then i crossed it once realised my mistake and went back, then got bored and went back again before realising how much it smells and going back a second time.
Well at least its not as bad this time, its got some artistic merit at least.
So what is it i hear you ask, and if you said you don't care then i hate you.
Well ill tell you, but in a riddle.
OK i cant think of one, I'm not the question a day guy so shut up. I'm not paranoid, screw you.
ps blogger tried to correct nerdiness to neediness, lol.

Annonymous Events
Something happened last night that really made me think. Not the event itself, but my own reaction to it. Without going into the nerdy detail i accidentally cheated, more of a crime of ignorence then intentionally. But since i came home from said nerdy event it has been on my mind constantly, i feel very guilty despite deep down me knowing i shouldnt need to feel guilty.
Indepth character flaw me thinks.
In other news have had an intense three days, having done very little aside from work and videogames. Got my results which i am insanely happy with yet mother still finds fault, but hey they wouldnt be parents if they didnt. After results drove to Swindon for the first time to watch a movie (which had a fucking awesome plot twist)then got drunk. Got five hours sleep, drove home slept and ate, then drove to swindon again (above event) got back home at midnight then work up and took the pass plus which invovled driving for 6 hours. I will sleep like a baby tonight, maybe not quite like a baby as babys don't tend to visit madam Palm and her five lovely daughters beforehand.
Have fun peeps

Found this on the BBC Website,

I have many leather bound books
Life's been a bit dull lately, which I've enjoyed. Now it becomes eventful again, these events include results day (shit) and the first day back at school (shittier). It doesn't help that for the past 2 weeks Ive been trying to write notes for my history essay, only to find that two hours have passed and Ive written half a page. I am absolutely terrible at concentrating if someone isn't telling me to. It doesn't help that so many tv programs are now available online and in good quality (curse you megavideo).
I drove my mum for the first time. I had a vague idea of what she would be like (inhaling through her teeth and grabbing door handles), and i was right. It majorly put me off and i stalled for the first time in a while. But then when we started heading back it was all fine. She stopped inhaling (don't worry she didn't die) and everything went well. So now i can officially drive to swindon and back, yey.
For the past few months i have read nearly every Ian M Banks books, he is the god of Sci-fi, buti tried to start a new one and couldn't get into it at all. I find it hard to read at home, i normally read on the bus to and from school because no one gets my bus . But i rarely read at any other time. Its going to be interesting to see how much reading i actually do when i start driving to school, i could try driving one handed but its probably not a good plan. Anywho i decided since I'm studying Russia for my history essay i should read some Russian Literature, hence the title of the blog. I am now reading what i thought to be a leather bound copy of Crime and Punishment, which i now know is fake leather but fuck it.
In other news i got a text asking me to a A level results celebration/collective mass panic, but i have know idea who its from, if only it was on blogger or something then i could use my awesome ninja net stalking powers.
Bi now

4OD
Has annoyed me. I recently found a new tv series to watch and distract me from the epic amounts of notes i need for my history essay. What annoys me is they list the episodes starting at the end of the series, so im watch episode one and underneath the video i can clearly see the premise for the last episode. Major spoiler alert (salute HIMYM fans)
Thats all

"All i no is my gut says maybe" Neutral President
"So, aplot to kill a werid alien with an oversized pair of scissors, how very neutral of you. But you forgot one thing, Rock crushes Scissors, but Paper covers Rock and Scissors cut Paper, Kif we have a connundrum. Zapp Brannigan
Sorry for the diviation, but i was watching futurama while writing this and it seemed appropriate.

Darren Brown's Trick or Treat
Holy mother of god this show is hilarious.
So far a womens been made to think shes had a car accident and had a near death experience.
A students gone into a photobooth in the UK and woken up overseas
A man's been convinced a dummy can read his voice and ends up with a split personality.
Oh and several Americans have been tricked, one jeweler parted with a $4500 value ring for a wad of paper.
Hilarious viewing people.

A man's been convinced a dummy can read his voice and ends up with a split personality.
Oh and several Americans have been tricked, one jeweler parted with a $4500 value ring for a wad of paper.
Hilarious viewing people.

Uprising
Listen up you massive muse lovers, uprising is out.
I don't often look forward to albums, but i can't wait for resistence to come out. Coninciding with the start of school. The main thing though is theres a three part symphony on the album. I really interested to see how they do it, i'm sure it will be awesome though.

I guess i'm not so lazy after all
Well i still am. Any who i thought I'd lead with a funny one, then give up and watch tv.
This is from (loosely quoted i have a shit memory) Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy which if you haven't heard (the radio series not the crappy movie) i will go to your house and selotape my headphones to your ears for a day until its over.
FYI the babel fish when stuck in your ear translates all known languages into your own language.
"Some people have taken the huge unlikelihood of the babel fish evolving to be so fantastically useful as final proof in the existence of God. God replies " no it doesn't says god for proof denies faith and without faith i am nothing." But man says "Ah but the babel fish is a dead giveaway and that proves you exist." God says " oh dear i hadn't thought of that and promptly vanishes in a puff of logic."
On a more serious note, a lot is said about the moral aspect that religion brings, but if your doing a good thing mearely to avoid internal damnation then is that really a good act, or is it a selfish one. On the other hand try and think of a purely selfless act that doesnt make you feel good and hence become selfish, lol.
Bubi now.

Parants (HAH)
I'm sick and tired of trying to talk to my mother anymore, i call her mother because she for some reason thinks its better then mum, so now i try and put a sarcastic inflection on it each time, anywho every recent conversation i've had with her ive wanted to scream shut up all the time. We're watching house and she constantly asks whats going on, then when i explain she asks what was going on while she was asking what was going on until i find myselg repeating the story whilst its going on.
Oh dear
Bubi
ps) might to a bit in response to Alex's blog because its a interesting thing to discuss.

Spring Clean (edit summer clean)
My lungs may have conceded defeat after being forced into getting rid of the surprising amount of dust under my bed, plus 3 bottle caps two cards, (moses's) and two near full packs of neurofen. Interesting.
House Quote of the Day
"Your just upset that the whole time she was with you she was thinking of my huge throbbing diagnostic skills."
Beautiful (austrailian accent required to say this word)

Coupling
Good news people, I've rediscovered "Coupling" and no this isn't some strange method of masturbation, you dirty minded people you, its a sitcom, known for such memorable quotes as;
Geoff (e.g crazy Welshmen) to a gay man "The thing is right, sex for you guys is easy."
Gay man " um why..."
Geoff " Well, for you guys masturbation is like practise, with us were supposed to get in there and fly her first time"
and
Jane " Uh aren't you forgetting something, me and Carolyn are vegetarian"
Carolyn " No your not you can barely eat vegetables and you can suck a whole pig through a straw"
Jane " Well I'm bi vegetarian"
Carolyn " No your not you crazy dumb bitch."
In other news i am really looking forward to the next six months, i have endured the summer video game drought and from here on in the good games start coming out. Leading off with madden 2010 which is my nicotine patch to stop me getting angry about the lack of rugby games. Followed by the new halo game (voiced by the fucking firefly cast, which is fucking sweet) then Cod4 (2) then mass effect 2 then bioshock 2 Left 4 dead 2 (yes i realise there are a hell of a lot of 2's) then Borderlands and finally "Sponge bob: Truth or Square" OK maybe not that last one.
Prepare to shit yourselves with Bioshock 2
Only two weeks to go before gaming bliss. Screw A levels, screw socialising, from this point on the only way to contact me is online, or by throwing rocks at my window, but then I'm more likely to attack you, but ill also weigh 300 pounds so ill probably run out of breath quite soon
and Good Morning to you all.

A Cyclophobias guide to Cycling
I have my best ideas on the toilet or shower. Anyone who doesn't is just plain weird.
1: Clothing; you will look stupid. Unless your willing to go out and buy professional kit, which is a complete waste money because then you'll be terrible but look like you should be good. Not a good idea.
2: Race Days; find any local ones near you. Not so you can enter though, woah nelly we're not ready for that yet. The main reason is to avoid them. Theres nothing worse than struggling up a hill only to be passed by a bunch or pricks whose bikes are mere nano metres thick and whose helmets can really only be described as "insert derogatory insult here cause I'm too lazy to think of one"
3: Suncream; don't make me embed the Baz Lurrman song again, because i will. Honestly being sun burnt everywhere except between your knees and your elbows and the part of your face shaded by the helmet.
4: Sunglasses; For the love of god wear them, every fucking time i go cycling a bug thinks "hmmm that looks like a nice warm eye, i could raise a family there."
Trying to cycle half blind is not a recipe for success (which incidentally if anyone has a actual recipe for success, ill take it off your hands)
5: For the men; If your groinal region appears to have grown older by 20 years and shrunk, its normal, don't panic and definitely don't try get it back to normal by heating it up, trust me!
Incidentally as one final piece of advice, if after a night out, for some unimportant reason, your nipples are strangely sore, do not put tape over them to reduce friction, it doesn't help, it makes things worse and there are easier ways to scream like a girl, though all of them are painful
Thank you and Good night.

Get off the road you damn kids
I got my second wind today. But about half an hour ago i didn't realise why.
So this morning i had a driving lesson at 9am, plus another one tomorrow at the same time. The lesson was going well, did the manouvers, drove in a straight line without crashing. Then going through this one way bit of chippenham a bunch of 12 year olds jumped out a decent way ahead, i stopped with plenty of time, but the bunch of miniture assholes started playing chicken. It freaked me out considerably, if i as a driver end up killing someone through my own mistake then i will blame myself and feel pretty shitty. If i have an accident because another driver made a mistake then i will feel annoyed, but move on. If i end up killing someone because they are so fucking stupid so as to think its fun to play chicken in the middle of rush hour well then i will quite happily dance on there grave singing hallelujah. (which is in my top 100 things to do before i die btw.)
Then the day picked up, i got an interview for a job at the shop that shall not be named in.... wait for it..... the wine section
sweet job right, and the final ingrediant to this pick me up is House, I love house, i want his babies. That is all.

I always forget the title
AAAAgahhhhhhhhhhh
I've been looking for a part time job for sometime now. Recently two opportunities came along at once. Unfortunately this meant i had to fill in two application forms. I really hate how much you have to toe the line in order to fill in these forms. A while ago when i was you and naive i thought at this point i would be honest and people would hire me for my skills and not my ability to lie well. Now i actually have reached this point and i find myself using phrases like "time keeping" and "good work ethic." I've betrayed my inner child, well screw my inner child, that guy was a douche.
On the lighter side (makes a change from in other news, i can really talk some massive bullshit sometimes) The great banana drought of July is over i have two driving lessons on Wednesday and Thursday both at 9am so that should be fun. This is promptly followed by my practical test on the first Friday of August. I really hope i pass, i took a mock test a while back and was so close that its really going to annoy me if i fail.
What really scares me about the leaving home is not the whole being independent thing. Its more where will i get to watch rugby games. I am seriously not kidding when i say that i may go to Cardiff Uni just so I'm near to the home games. For Christs sake its only been a month since the end of the lions and all ready i really want to watch some rugby. And to cap it all off the last rugby game for the xbox came out in 2006 and was 2 years out of date then. Oh well........*inhale through teeth* so, this is uncomfortable. Lol moses Lol.
Random House Quote (just let me know if these get boring)
House " Can't take the case, don't have a team"
Cuddy "So hire a team"
House "What for, i don't even have a case"
God bless you all my brothers and sisters, may the wisdom of House guide you to semi ok mindset.

I hate Holidays
They just make me so fucking bored (i like typing swearwords, so sue me) during term time i read on the bus to school, but i can't be arsed on holiday. I normally have the xbox but I'm bored of most of my games and theres no one ever around to play online. Also Lockeridge. Its because of this shitty village that i spend all my time on the pc. I'm just glad i at least have my own otherwise I'd sit on my ass watching tv instead. Oh wait i still do the same thing just on a pc. Curse the wonders of the modern age.
Well this blog killed five minutes. Bye now!

Watchmen
Special DVD edition came today. I saw it in the cinema when it came out, snuck into an 18 what a rebel i am becoming, next ill be gambling and then what.
I have long been aware of my intense nerdy nature, it used to bother me but i realise now that i don't care anymore. Watchmen was the first thing i got pretty nerdy about. Hanging out in Costa one day a few of my friends brought it up as they wanted to go see it. I asked a few questions got interested and ended up going to whsmith which just so happened to have a copy of the graphic novel the film is based on and read it in a couple of days. I always thought of the term graphic novel as a bit pointless, but with watchmen it wasn't just people in costumes wailing on other people in costumes. It properly looked at what superheros would be like if they were real. Answer: Completely fucked up.
Any who back to the movie.
P.S: Rorschach is crazy
P.S.S: Alan Moore's beard is crazy
P.P.S.S: Blogger's new spell checker has made me feel warm and fuzzy deep down inside, please don't ask why.

The holiday starts now
I finally finished work experience, no longer will i have to wake up in the morning instead i now have a mountain of homework and a driving test to panic about.
In other news, I have not had a banana in 5 days
i think I'm going through withdrawal symptoms, or maybe i just have swine flu. Who knows?
This isn't a joke people, i may be going mad, i normally have 2-3 banana's a day. It is my only source of fruit (unless you count the orange bit in jaffa cakes). It my sound weird to you "normal people" but i am crazily addicted to banana's, but not just plain old banana's. I'm talking about bananas to which the joke about spiders eggs applies.
The reason i have not eaten a banana is not that theres a banana shortage in the house, its that despite looking fine, these banana's are so fucking unripe that they literally have the texture and taste of melon.
I better get some bananaery goodness soon or im going end up waking in the middle of the night seeing a child crawl along the ceiling and rotate its head 360degrees

YOU WILL NOT USE THE WORD PARTY AS A VERB IN THIS SHOP
Tomorrow is Friday yey and sad noise for many reasons.
Yey in that my work exp is done (more later) and there's a party going on (not sure why i mentioned it as everyone who blogs most likely already knows about it)
Sad noise is that the party is a goodbye party.
But seriously i do tend to hide sad things by making jokes (normally bad ones) but seriously, without "Goose" who will me and moses banter with about HIMYM, who will introduce me to criminally underrated sitcoms and who will make anchorman references to my suits (ok shes only done this once)
Final thing, finishing my work xp tomorrow, man is it gonna be nice not to have to set my alarm for 7am anymore, but honestly, work xp was pretty good, got to see this massive house that's been around since 1066 in one form or another, solely inhabited by dry rot, a women who is more horse than person and a cat that is deeply suspicious of its own shadow, also lead stealing thieves.
Nighty night night night ;) HAH winky.

MAMA ooooooooooooooooooo
Watched a movie today (yes i realise 90% of my blogs have started like this). In this movie, about the skull and bones club btw, this guy asked a question. Is America a meritorious society of a class based society. The answer given sums up America in one neat reply. Its both, improvement by merit leads to wealth and wealth leads to class systems.
Its because of this i actually started considering moving to USA at some point in my life purely because the country is so fucking interesting. Politically and socially its just so crazy. I went on road trip through California about 2 years ago. What i took from it was the sense of space everywhere. The country is so massive, it effectively is 50 different countries, each with its own identity. I only wish I'd had a chance to visit more of it.
I wrote about America some posts ago and i cant remember if i mentioned this/can't be arsed to look it up myself. I went through a period of irrational hatred towards all of America, based purely on George Bush and people on xbox live. Then two things shifted my opinion, both were from Britain, but went over to the USA and made some awesome shit.
The first was Niel (i have selective dyslexia on his first name btw) Gaiman, seriously you should all read "American Gods."
The Second was Stephen Fry, when he went on that tour round every state you really got to see how staggeringly different they all are, you could spend a life time trying to figure them all out.
This isn't to say i don't find Britain just as interesting, because i do. Its more that with America i can be sort of independent with it.
Now for the final part of the blog, which i may try and make a regular thing seeing as there is 5 series of the show to go through. Here it goes,
House Quote of the week
Doctor Cameron "You find it comforting to believe that this is it?"
House "I find it more comforting to believe that this isn't a test."
What a legendary dude, bubi now.

Wankers Cramp and Wiltshire County Council
Went on my first day of work experience today. It was what i expected, some interesting bits interspersed with sitting on a chair looking uncomfortable.
The morning was incredibly dull, basically they showed me how fucking boring it is in the planning office, then the good stuff started. I got shifted over to the enforcement officer. This is the dude who goes around making sure every ones doing what they're told. Sounds like slightly higher up traffic warden right? Wrong. This was the interesting part of the day, often the powers that be get looked down upon as bureaucratic, pedantic and anal. And to some extent its true in that they're pretty bogged down in the law, but in most cases the people they have to deal with are the sort of people who write into the daily telegraph. Who frankly deserve to be bent over and taken to brown town if you no what i mean.
In other news, mainly party related, i went to a party on Saturday. Happy Birthday Shotgun (I love online nicknames). Twas good fun, got to talk to lots of people and meet someone I'd only met online, not a 45 year old paedophile, instead think of computer programs singing Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do. Aside from the good stuff someone went drink driving to buy more alcohol and i managed to wander around Burbage twice in order to get a lift home and even then with local guidance.
Oh and my wrist hurts, hence the wankers cramp

Run to the hills
So that's it people, the year is over.
Courses were taken, teachers were found (drunk), exams were painful, fun times were had, sad times were endured.
I'm in two minds about this year, it might possibly have been my favourite so far, i did stuff I've never done before, i felt more comfortable than ever before and I've discovered interests I've never had before. But as well there are regrets, mainly in missed opportunities department. People i could have spent more time with, lessons i could have put more effort in, in the first place. The final day wasn't too bad either, normally there shit, but apart from the rain there were 4 parts yesterday that saved it for me.

- Listening to Run to the Hills in the common room with everyone singing along.
- Listening to Baba o'reilly by the who, Ive been trying to find this song for ever.
- Super Smash brother. We had a massive sesh of this 5th period which also served as a sort of goodbye for "East is East." I have made it clear that i don't like the fucker (he's left smelly cheese all over the common room btw) but hes gone now and i dont particularly like change.
- General feeling this evening: after some initial depression at the thought that i wont see a lot of people i like for sometime without the convenient excuse for school and the fact that a certain member of the bird family who in one year, metaphorically imprinted herself into the very walls is going back to the land of maple, hockey and mounties. So after that initial thought i downloaded No. 2 and listened to that and immediately felt better.
In other news i've got my driving test early in august, i probably won't get nervous till the day but at the moment i really just want to go driving.
