For some reason i find it hilarious that the only practical part of maths happens to be the most mind numbingly dull maths ever. All you can think about is that after Wednesday I'll never have to think about dummy's or Dijkstra's or Minimum spanning tree ever again. Its fucking ridiculous all that D1 involves is basic addition. I used to think mathematics was all about efficiency, but with D1 you deliberately do it like a computer, you get marked down for common sense or taking a short cut even if it takes less time. But enough about that onto the second part of this blog.
The Cardiff Blues will play for the last time in the Cardiff Arms park before moving to a new 25,000 seater stadium. I think of this as good news but apparently some fans will be refusing to go to the new stadium. This is ridiculous, if you support a team you support the team not the stadium, its ridiculous. Its shame that it will no longer be in the city center, but on the plus side at least we won't be dwarfed by the millennium stadium. All it takes to make a new stadium home is the fans and the players. If the team plays well the fans will come and other teams will soon be scared to play in the fearsome "I have no idea what the name will be" stadium.
Or at least that's what i hope at worst we could end up like the Liberty Stadium in Swansea (no fans underachieving team) or Parc y Scarlets (shit team crazy fickle fans). If that happens at least I'll always be able to get tickets.
