Parents

To be honest I'm pretty much sick and tired of them. My dads away 90% of the time and when he is all home we talk about rugby/watch rugby/ drive to rugby games. I eat dinner with my mum and constantly getting pissed of with what she says and then when i voice my disagreement apparently I'm just condescending her, as if i cant have my own fucking opinion. I suppose small blessings can be taken from the fact my communication with them is better than they have between each other. My parents relationship could best be described as staying together cause my mum can't get a job and hence is dependent on my dads income.

Sorry to vent but its really got to me today, I'd thought I'd be less stressed after my exams were over, but instead I've realised all the things I've left by the wayside that i now have to pick up.

School today was better than yesterday, i didn't make quintet, which I'm actually quite relieved about. Started new courses in history geography maths and chem. I'm getting quite excited about history because we're starting are independent history study. we have until next April to write 3500 words on an subject over a 100 year period. I picked " To what extent was Stalin responsible for the collapse of communism in the USSR." Fun huh. Political extremes crack me up. They make for a cracking read too, Animal Farm being the top of this. One of my favourite books of all time, plus you can read it in a day. I especially like the sugar plum mountain bit. (at least i think its sugar plum mountain)

So many of my favourite novels have involved this. 1984, V for Vendetta and a series my dad recommended about the race called the culture who the author describes them as a race of communist mongrel humanoids.

from rant to review in one seamless switch, classy.
